Eternal Summers will release their new album, Gold & Stone, next week via Kanine. As I wrote previously, I think this rivals’s 2012’s Correct Behavior for the best thing they’ve done yet, taking a more shimmery tack that really works great with some of the band’s best songs. There’s also a gem from drummer Daniel Cundiff, titled “Ebb Tide,” that reminds me a lot of Know By Heart-era American Analog Set. You can stream the whole thing right now over at The NY Times.

The band’s tour winds around to the Northeast again this weekend, including a stop at NYC Popfest as part of the all-day Sunday (5/31) show at Littlefield with Club 8,  Lunchbox, Seabirds, Cold Beat, The Holiday Crowd, Starry Eyed Cadet, and Sapphire Mansions. Tickets are still available.

At the tail-end of their tour, Eternal Summers will be back to play Brooklyn Bowl on June 30, with Widowspeak and Small Black. Tickets for that show are on sale now. Updated tour dates are listed below.
