Passion Pit‘s tour in support of their new album Kindred hit NYC last night (5/11) for a show at Kings Theatre. It sold out far in advance, not surprisingly considering Kings is a very intimate spot for a band who has headlined Madison Square Garden. The show kicked off with old favorite “Little Secrets” before delving into new stuff, but their whole set was split pretty evenly between their three albums. They also brought back a couple from their first EP in the encore, before ending (as they usually do) with “Sleepyhead.”

The show was their first in NYC with the current lineup, which has frontman Michael Angelakos joined by an entirely new cast. The new lineup includes Pete Carafella of Supersystem and Shy Child, as well as Giuliano Pizzulo of Incan Abraham, Ray Suen and Chris Hartz of Childish Gambino’s band, and Aaron Harrison Folb.
