Blondes releasing 'Rein' cassette (listen), prep new EP, playing Brooklyn's Good Room w/ Teengirl Fantasy & more

NYC production duo Blondes are known for their eclectic touch, with DJs Sam Haar and Zach Steinman consistently spinning a brand of techno-informed house that’s as comfortable soundtracking outdoor Sunday afternoon parties as it is hazy nightclubs or Bowery Ballroom.

Rein is 50 minutes of new Blondes music, cut over a singular weekend crammed with studio sessions that went on to inspire the sounds of Persuasion, Blondes’ new EP, due August 7, also on RVNG Intl.. It’s a fresh delicate mix, at times anxious-making, but always pleasantly so. You can stream Rein in full below — but only for a week — and you can order it on cassette.

Blondes will celebrate Rein‘s release with a show at Brooklyn’s Good Room on July 18, for FIXED. Also on the bill are Teengirl Fantasy, Heretic, Tronik Youth, JDH & Dave P and Facets. Tickets are on sale now and flyer for the show is below…
