Future Islands celebrate Father's Day in "A Song for Our Grandfathers" video (watch)

It’s Fathers Day on Sunday (6/21) and Future Islands are celebrating by releasing a video for “A Song for Our Grandfathers” from last year’s breakthrough Singles. It was shot by director Jay Buim at a family reunion in North Carolina, and the band perform for their families. You can watch it below and they’ve also set up an e-card if you want to share it with your father. This does not, mind you, get you out of actually calling your father on Father’s Day.

Future Islands will spend their actual Fathers Day in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands at the Best Kept Secret festival, part of their current tour.
