Jaakko Eino Kalevi streaming new album, playing US shows including Baby's All Right before Warm-Up

Finnish tram-driver-turned-dreampop-musician, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, who you may remember remixed Alice Boman’s “Be Mine” earlier this year, will release his new self-titled album on June 16 via Weird World. Lightly dancey, ethereal but not floating completely off into the atmosphere, and with a splash of Bryan Ferry elan, the record is a nice showcase for Kalevi’s songwriting and production/arrangement skills. As mentioned, Kalevi will be in NYC this summer for MoMA PS1 Warm-Up on August 1 with Tiga, Gavin Russom and Frank & Tony also on the bill. Tickets to that Warm-Up are still available. He’ll also perform the day before (July 31) at Baby’s All Right. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

Kalevi will be on the West Coast before coming to NYC, playing shows in LA and San Francisco. All dates are listed, along with the album stream, below…
