Kendrick Lamar played Summer Jam, brought out Schoolboy Q, SZA, Ab-Soul & Welven Da Great (videos, setlist)

While things didn’t go down smoothly outside of Hot 97 Summer Jam yesterday (6/7), everything was fine inside the NYC-area hip hop festival, including Kendrick Lamar‘s headlining set. It marked the live debuts of “King Kunta,” “The Blacker the Berry” and “Hood Politics” off his new album To Pimp A Butterfly. He also brought out Schoolboy Q for “Collard Greens” and “Studio,” SZA (like at Sweetlife), this time for “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe,” and Ab-Soul and viral celeb Welvan Da Great (who inspired Kendrick’s character in Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” video) for “Alright.” Watch videos and check out the full setlist, below…
