this weekend's Bang on a Can Marathon streaming live online
The 2015 Bang on a Can Marathon (part of River to River) happens on Sunday (6/21) at The Winter Garden at Brookfield Place, with cans and other instruments being banged on from noon to 10 PM. Highlights include So Percussion performing with Nels Cline and Bobby Previte, the Asphalt Orchestra doing Pixies covers, Bang on a Can All-Stars, and the US premiere of the Glenn Branca Ensemble‘s Ascension Three which closes the evening. The whole schedule is listed, along with a YouTube playlist of this year’s performers, below.
