Craig Finn releases new song, announces tour (dates)

Seamless ad star Craig Finn already released one song from his upcoming solo album, Faith In The Future (due 9/11 via Partisan), and now he’s got another. Like the first single, “Maggie I’ve Been Searching For Our Son?” has Craig dabbling in mid-’80s heartland rock. Listen over at Wall Street Journal.

We already knew The Hold Steady frontman would be playing NYC to open for My Morning Jacket at the Beacon in November (tickets), and now he announed a headlining tour to go down before that. It includes a NYC show on November 6 at Bowery Ballroom with Esme Patterson. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (7/31) at noon.
