Shocking Pinks reissuing debut album, going on world tour including North American dates this fall

Shocking Pinks (the project of New Zealand singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nick Harte) are reissuing their acclaimed 2004 debut album, Dance the Dance Electric, on October 5. This will mark its first-ever release on vinyl and will come with nine digital-only bonus tracks from the original sessions. You can stream a track from it, “Nostalgia,” below.

Shocking Pinks will be going on a world tour in support of the reissue, including North American dates this fall. The tour hits NYC on October 30 at Baby’s All Right. Tickets for that show will be on sale soon. Shocking Pinks will also play New Brunswick, NJ’s The Banana Stand on Halloween (10/31).
