Toadies release new song, announce tour (dates, stream)

We knew ’90s-rockers Toadies would be putting on their DIa De Los Toadies festival in Texas again this year, and now the band has announced a US tour to go down after that.
It kicks off in late October with a few more Texas dates, and then makes its way North, eventually hitting the NYC-area for a couple shows. One is at NYC’s City Winery on November 10 and the other at Asbury Park’s Wonder Bar on November 12. Tickets for City Winery are on VinoFile presale now and the general on-sale will start soon. No info on Wonder Bar tickets yet but you can check the venue’s site for updates.
The tour is in support of their upcoming album Heretics (due 9/18 via Kirtland), which features acousic re-workings of old songs, a cover, and two new songs. One of those new ones, “In The Belly Of A Whale,” just premiered over at SPIN. Listen, with the list of tour dates, below.
