Autre Ne Veut shares "Panic Room," adds NYC release show to tour (updated dates, video)

Autre Ne Veut‘s new album The Age of Transparency comes out October 2 via Downtown, and after releasing first single “World War Pt. 2” he returned with a second, “Panic Room.” More than “World War Pt. 2” this one is pretty in line with the could-be R&B hits of his last album (like “Counting” and “Play By Play”), and the video has Arthur Ashin performing the song a capella in front of three judges: his manager, his sister, and Pitchfork’s Ian Cohen. Autre Ne Veut already announced a tour, which GEMS was recently added to, that includes NYC on October 26 at Bowery Ballroom (tickets). He also since added a release show happening at Rough Trade NYC on October 1. To get in, you have to purchase the album from the Rough Trade store. More details here.
