Blessed Feathers announce 2nd LP; vinyl out exclusively via record club Vinyl Me, Please

Blessed Feathers

Blessed Feathers, who released their debut LP back in 2013, are back with a new album called ‘There Will Be No Sad Tomorrow’. In their own words:

Two years in the making, ‘There Will Be No Sad Tomorrow’ is equal parts beauty and brutality, a transgressional road trip that stretches from the ghettos of Peru to the high plains of Wyoming, from the swamplands of Florida to the oceanic wilds of Big Sur. It is traveling music, tormented and biographical, but most importantly, human.

Get a taste of their travels with the album’s first single “Wyoming/Dakota” which is streaming below and available as a limited edition 45 at their web store.

With no label behind it, ‘There Will Be No Sad Tomorrow’ will be released digitally on October 9th, and exclusively on vinyl via record club Vinyl Me, Please that same month. If you’re not familiar with Vinyl Me, Please:

Each month members receive a vinyl record, newly or re-released, an original album-inspired art print, and a custom cocktail recipe, to encourage a complete and sensory album experience. Vinyl Me, Please believes the vinyl format re-introduces ritual and process to listening, to deepen a personal relationship with music. Founded in 2012, Vinyl Me, Please is based in Colorado, and has members in more than 40 countries.

Depending on the plan you choose, Vinyl Me, Please costs between $23 and $27 a month. Members automatically get the featured and exclusive ‘Record of the Month’. Past featured albums include Four Tet, Wilco, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Perfume Genius, Hot Chip, Torres, Father John Misty, J. Dilla and more. Join now if you want to get the Blessed Feathers record, their first featured selection by an unsigned band, in October…

Only available to VMP members, the album will be accompanied by a photo book with over 120 photos from the bands recent travels, an original 12″ x 12″ album-inspired art print by Massachusetts artist Nate Duval and a custom cocktail pairing by Sarah Johnson, Head Mixologist, Flying Squirrel Bar Chattanooga, TN.
