The Dictators playing NYE at Bowery Electric; Murphy's Law playing there on Halloween ++ win tix to D.O.A.
Handsome Dick Manitoba’s current version of legendary NYC punk band The Dictators are making a tradition out of playing New Year’s Eve at hometown venue Bowery Electric. They’ve announced that they’re doing it again this year, though no openers revealed yet. Tickets are on sale now. The band is touring Europe first, and all dates are listed below.
Another long-running NYC punk institution, Murphy’s Law, also plays a holiday show at that same venue. They’ll be there on Halloween, a day they tend to celebrate with hometown shows. No openers for this one at the moment either. Tickets are on sale now. They also have a few other dates, which are listed below.
Meanwhile, this weekend Bowery Electric hosts another legendary punk band (but from Vancouver), D.O.A., on Saturday (9/26). Tickets are still available and we’re also giving away a pair. Details below.
