Bing & Ruth, the Brooklyn ambient group led by David Moore, just reissued their 2010 debut City Lake last week on RVNG Intl, in the wake of the critical success of last year’s Tomorrow was the Golden Age on the same label. To celebrate it, they played Le Poisson Rouge last night (11/17) to perform music off the album. It was a co-release show with Port St. Willow, who were playing off their new album Syncope (which David Moore contributed to). Good bill all around, with dream-folk singer Julie Byrne opening.
