French band Red Lemons posted the following to Facebook:

Pour rassurer les personnes qui nous savaient au concert des Eagles of death metal au bataclan, il y a eu un attentat, nous allons bien.

For our american and english friends, a terrorist attack happened at the Eagles of death metal concert. We are safe. Mikel Ross, Eric McFadden we were with your mates Jesse, Tuesday, the other musicians outside, they’re safe too, they took a cab.
Fuck…

“Tuesday” likely refers to Jesse’s partner Tuesday Cross. According to Google translate, that first sentence means “To reassure people who knew us in concert Eagles of death metal to [Bataclan], there was an attack , we’re fine .”

UPDATE: Eagles of Death Metal’s Facebook account posted the following message around 6:50 PM EST:

We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation.

UPDATE: Around 100 people are reported dead inside the concert.

UPDATE: Michael Dorio, the brother of EODM drummer Julian Dorio, has spoken to his brother. From WSBTV:

He said they were playing, about six songs into the show, they heard, before they saw anything, they heard automatic machine gunfire. It was so loud, it was louder than the band, and they hit the stage floor. As they got up to try to evacuate they saw men with machine guns just shooting anything and everything in the venue.” Michael Dorio said. “They heard more than they could see because of the stage lights.”

He says Julian told him the venue held about 1,500 people.

“I don’t know if it was seated or standing but Julian, the lead singer and some of the crew, there was a door back of the stage that led to a street and they flew out the back door,” Michael Dorio said.

We are beyond devastated by this news and our thoughts are with Paris and everyone affected by this tragedy.
