Boris and Merzbow share "Huge" + "Planet of the Cows" off upcoming collaborative album (watch the video)

We mentioned a while ago that Boris and Merzbow were working on an ambitious double LP called Gensho together, and now they’ve revealed a track. The premise of the album is that the first disc features drum-less versions of older Boris songs and the second features new Merzbow compositions, and the two discs are intended to be played at the same time. The new track has Boris’ “Huge” off 1998’s Amplifier Worship paired with Merzbow’s “Planet of the Cows,” and you can check out the official live video below. The album comes out March 18 via Relapse.

Boris are playing Levitation Fest in a few months, but other than that no word on a tour behind this album.
