Lady Leshurr remixes Kanye West's "Real Friends" (listen)

Erykah Badu isn’t the only person to remix Kanye West‘s “Real Friends” with her own vocals. Rising British MC Lady Leshurr just did too. She gets real personal on this one, revealing things like “I couldn’t be there when my auntie was in hospital, I couldn’t be there when they laid her down to rest” and “I caught my father cheating on my mom in her bed with her best friend.” It’s even more proof that Lady Leshurr is super promising. Check it out below.

Lady Leshurr makes her NYC debut on February 6 at Gramercy Theatre with Jubilee (tickets), and then plays SXSW.

Earlier today, Kanye released “No Parties In LA” (feat. Kendrick Lamar, prod. Madlib), the followup single to “Real Friends.”
