The Cult releasing new album 'Hidden City,' share "Hinterland," playing NYC & LA release shows (dates)
Gothy/spiritual riff rockers The Cult will release their 10th studio album, titled Hidden City, on February 5 via Cooking Vinyl. Veteran knob-twiddler Bob Rock, who has worked with The Cult four times previously (including their 1989 breakthrough Sonic Temple) returns behind the boards for this one. The Cult will play a few U.S. record release shows next month, including two in NYC: Gramercy Theatre on February 17 and Music Hall of Williamsburg on February 19. They’ll then be back in the spring for a proper tour, including two more shows in the NYC area: April 6 at The Paramount in Huntington, NY and April 16 at The Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, NJ.
Tickets to all four of those shows go on sale Friday (1/15) with Music Geeks presales from Gramercy and Wellmont beginning Wednesday (1/13) at 10 AM, a venue presale for the Paramount at 10 AM Wednesday, and an AmEx presale for MHOW at noon on Wednesday.
