Pyrrhon

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Pyrrhon, Vomit Fist, Cadaveric Spasm, Replicant @ Palisades
Local tech-death freaks Pyrrhon returned last year with the Growth Without End EP, that had them sounding as spastic and crushing as ever. They grace their hometown with another show tonight.

Zevious, Red Reiter, Needle Driver @ Saint Vitus
Zevious have a wild sound that’s somewhere between jazz, prog and rock. They’re great players, so experiencing it live should be a treat.

Haybaby, Leggy, Cende, The Overs @ Shea Stadium
Cincinnati garage pop band Leggy just returned with a new EP, Dang, and it’s more good stuff from this promising band. They return to NYC tonight, and likeminded locals Haybaby make for a solid double billing.

Tribute to Lou Reed feat. Sinkane, Mirah, Invisible Familiars, Your 33 Black Angels, Pencil, Cassandra Jenkins, Jolie Holland, Sam Owens @ Manhattan Inn
As the title of this event says, a bunch of cool artists will cover Lou Reed at this show tonight. Sold out.

Liam McEneaney, Rob Paravonian, Dave Hill, Colin Jost @ Bell House
Liam McEneaney records his second comedy album (and his first with Comedy Dynamics) tonight. Warming up the crowd are SNL ‘Weekend Update’ anchor Colin Jost, Dave Hill and more.
