Wilco's Glenn Kotche and So Percussion releasing 'Drumkit Quartets,' playing Carnegie Hall with Shara Worden

Wilco drummer (and Seth Meyers’ house band’s guest drummer) Glenn Kotche and percussive quartet (and Dan Deacon collaborators) So Percussion have teamed up for the album Drumkit Quartets, due February 26 via Cantaloupe Music. One of the tracks, “Drumkit Quartet #51,” features Cibo Matto’s Yuka Honda reciting haiku. That one’s not out yet, but you can stream “Drumkit Quartet #54” below.
They’ll be celebrating the album in NYC at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall on February 12. That show also has My Brightest Diamond‘s Shara Worden joining So Percussion on vocals. Here’s the show details:
