Coming on the heels of the producing the very successful Straight Outta ComptonDr. Dre is producing and starring in a new semi-autobiographical TV series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new show is called Vital Signs, has already starting shooting, and also holds the distinction of being the first original show ever produced by Apple (Apple and Dre, you might remember, have a longstanding relationship), and will probably be distributed via Apple Music.

The show, which is currently set for six episodes, has an interesting purported structure; each episode will be about a different emotion and how Dre deals with said emotion. It also apparently involves a large orgy scene in the first episode, which, as we know from True Detective, is very important if you want to make a show sufficiently dark. Vital Signs also involves Sam Rockwell, which is good news.
