Toss

Brooklyn via Boston funk-punks Guerilla Toss are streaming their new album Eraser Stargazer now, which is out March 4 on DFA. It’s a fun album that manages to be both manic and groovy in a way that few bands can pull off, recalling Deerhoof at their most frenzied. You can stream it below.

Guerilla Toss have some shows coming up, including a couple in NYC. They’ll be playing Trans Pecos on February 24 with Banned Books, Dog and Hermit Thrushes. They’ll also play that Force Field PR anniversary show at Baby’s All Right on March 3 with Lou Barlow, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, The Blow and others. Tickets for both are on sale. All tour dates are listed below.

And speaking of DFA, label head James Murphy and his mates in LCD Soundsystem have signed to Columbia Records, Billboard reports. This is possibly DFA/Columbia the same way their previous records were through DFA and Capitol & Virgin. LCD will release their new album some time in 2016.
