Rick Ross

Rick Ross was the Saturday night special guest headliner at the Converse-presented Fader Fort during SXSW. Following sets by Gangsta Boo, Drumma Boy and Maybach Music young gun Stalley, Ross came out to Meek Mill anthem "Ima Boss." (speakin of Stalley & Meek Mill, both played the big Warner Brorthers hip hop show at La Zona Rosa earlier in the week.)

The rest of the 13-song set included the hits ("Hustlin," "BMF," "All I Do Is Win," "I'm on One") and whole bunch of tracks off the "Rich Forever" mixtape ("Rich Forever," "Stay Schemin," "Party Heart," "Holy Ghost," "Fuck 'Em"). Stalley came back out for "Party Heart," but none of the collection's more high profile guests materialized (one photog in the pit was convinced Diddy would appear. Nas and Wayne, who both played sets during the fest, seemed equally likely).

For his part, Ross fills a stage quite well, moving quickly between verses and spouting off inspirational catchphrases (example: "Build it from the ground up, do it self made, and be rich forever").

More pictures (including one of the written setlist) and videos of the set are below...
