Alejandro Escovedo on tour, playing free Austin in-store & going on 6-date TX run w/ John Prine (dates)

As just mentioned on BrooklynVegan, Alejandro Escovedo will be tour for the next few months. Among those dates are a bunch in his home state of Texas, where he plays a lot. He'll play a free in-store at Austin's Waterloo Records on August 7.

Then, after hitting up the west coast for a bunch of dates, he'll return to TX for a 6-date tour around the state in September with John Prine. That tour includes Corpus Christi's Selena Auditorium @ American Bank Center on 9/22, San Antonio's Lila Cockerall Theater on 9/24, Midland's The Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center on 9/26, Dallas' Majestic Theater on 9/28, and Austin's Bass Concert Hall on 9/29. Tickets for the Austin show go on sale Friday (7/20) at 10 AM.
