The Weeknd cancels today's ACL Fest performance

The Weeknd, who were supposed to play ACL Fest at 5:15 on the Barton Springs Stage today (11/14), have unfortunately had to cancel their performance due to the illness of frontman/main member Abel Tesfaye. DJ Mel will perform in their place. Bummer to hear, but feel better Abel!

The Weeknd did play an ACL "Late Night" aftershow last night (10/13) at Austin Music Hall though. If you were there, how was that?

    The music hall preformance was absolutely amazing from the set up to vocals. Before finally seeing the weeknd a line about half a mile long stretched down the street. Even people who didn't know him were buying tickets... The setlist was great, he played wicked games, rolling stone, high for this and a lot more. I left the venue around 1:30, great night !
