In this week's Hip-Hop news, Devin the Dude is set to perform at Beauty Ballroom tonight (4/12), with classic LA crew The Pharcyde following him at the same venue this Saturday ( while Tyga perfoms next door at Emo's East (4/14)). Unlike the now sold-out Tyga show, tickets are still available to both Beauty Ballroom shows, AND we have a pair of tickets for each BB concert you can win. Details below.

Bear in Heaven @ Hotel Vegan (more by Tim Griffin)

Bear In Heaven's new album is out Tuesday on Dead Oceans / Hometapes, but you can listen to it now at NPR.

The band were just in town for a bunch of SXSW shows including a headlining appearance at Hotel Vegan (at Hotel Vegas) back on Wenesday, 3/14. Our full set of pictures from that party just went up on BrooklynVegan. Check 'em out.

As previously mentioned, Bear In Heaven are now touring and will be stopping back in Austin for a show at The Parish on April 24, with Blouse and Doldrums (who also played Hotel Vegan). Tickets are still available, and we've got a pair you can win!

As mentioned, the "grand opening" of Beauty Ballroom happens this weekend and kicks off with a performance by Theophilus London. The show is part of Theophilus' tour which recently hit Tomorrow Never Knows in Chicago, and includes dates with Phony Ppl, including a NYC show at Webster Hall.
