Charli XCX at Bonnaroo 2013 (more by Jamie Goodsell)
She apologizes to fans on Facebook:
Hi guys. As some of you may have already heard I have annoyingly had to postpone my headline tour in the USA in October/November. It's really frustrating and it's really sad and I genuinely am so so so upset about it because I had some amazing ideas and things to share with you in the shows throughout September.Watch a video below...
I'm going to be completely honest with you, the reason the tour has been postponed is because I have been offered to support Paramore throughout their UK tour, which is a really big deal for me as I haven't ever really toured in the UK outside of London before. It's scary and it's quite weird but it's also super exciting for me to finally be able to play shows in the country that I'm from.
I always feel so welcome in the USA and all of you guys have always been so cool and amazing to play too... So I am really so sad that I'm letting you down like this. But this is a big opportunity for me, one that people around me won't let me decline. I am seriously so sorry to everyone I have let down, and I really do hope that you will be able to make the rescheduled dates (I'm figuring them out right now) and that you will enjoy the new music that is coming very very very soon. All I can promise you is that when I come back to the USA later on this year, the tour will be bigger and better... There's going to be a lot of changes made and lots of new, exciting things.
Please don't be too angry at me. I really do hate to let everyone down like this. I promise I'm going to make it up to you all. Xxxxxx

Charli XCX at SXSW 2013 (more by Kyle Dean Reinford)
Charli XCX played SXSW earlier this year and just wrapped up a tour with Marina & The Diamonds in support of her debut album, True Romance. The album brought her praise for her neon dance beats and even charted on the Billboard Hot 100, and this success is bringing her to bigger venues across North America. Continuing with her non-stop tour schedule, she is set to kick off another electro-pop filled tour in late August and will be returning to Texas for three shows with Kitten. The shows will be in Houston September 27 at Fitzgerald's, in Austin September 28 at The Parish, and in Dallas September 29 at Club Dada. Tickets for Houston, Austin, and Dallas tickets are on sale

Scenes from Fun Fun Fun Lucky Lady Bingo via Adi Anand's Instagrams 7/11/2012
On 7/11 (Happy Slurpee Day!) Fun Fun Fun held their bingo-to-reveal-the-artists event, and while we already knew about Run DMC reuniting and some others, there were quite a few surprises in the massive list of musical acts and comedians announced (Public Image Ltd., Youth of Today, De La Soul, X, Bob Mould, Saul Williams, and Hannibal Burress to name a few).
The headliners (in addition to the aforementioned Run DMC reunion) are an electic-but-looked-forward-to group: Santigold, Refused, and for Comedy David Cross.
Three-day and PIP passes go on sale on Thursday at 10AM CST and will no doubt move fast. Get them here once the clock passes 9:59...
