Montreal's opinionated Godspeed You! Black Emperor, who recently announced a new album which is streaming online, played two sold-out shows at Mohawk (on 10/9 and 10/10). They reach Dallas tonight (10/11) and continue touring through early 2013. Here are some pictures from the first Austin show. More below...

Godspeed You! Black Emperor in Brooklyn in 2011 (more by Greg Cristman)

After playing Pitchfork Festival and ATP NJ, Godspeed You! Black Emperor will head out on a short tour in October which comes to Austin on October 9 and 10 at Mohawk. Tickets for the 10/9 show and the 10/10 show are on sale now.
