FunFunFun Fest 2012 Bingo!

While we've had some teasers in the last few weeks - Wednesday night was the night for BINGO - and the full Fun Fun Fun Fest reveal.

On 7/11 (Happy Slurpee Day!) Fun Fun Fun held their bingo-to-reveal-the-artists event, and while we already knew about Run DMC reuniting and some others, there were quite a few surprises in the massive list of musical acts and comedians announced (Public Image Ltd., Youth of Today, De La Soul, X, Bob Mould, Saul Williams, and Hannibal Burress to name a few).

The headliners (in addition to the aforementioned Run DMC reunion) are an electic-but-looked-forward-to group: Santigold, Refused, and for Comedy David Cross.

Three-day and PIP passes go on sale on Thursday at 10AM CST and will no doubt move fast. Get them here once the clock passes 9:59...

See the full line-up below.

Temper Trap greeting fans in Brooklyn
Temper Trap

Crocodiles, whose new album just came out on Frenchkiss, strangely are touring with Temper Trap, who honestly we're not huge fans of, but plenty of others are, as the band headlined the very large Stubb's the other night after also playing an in-store at Waterloo earlier in the day. Earlier on the tour, the Temper Trap played an "intimate" Brooklyn show at Music Hall of Williamsburg with opener Penguin Prison, and our photographer Toby Tenenbaum, a huge fan of Brit rock in all its forms (for better or for worse), was in attendance. Here are his pictures from that show.

Temper Trap will share a bill with Polica in Chicago on August 4, one of the many just-announced Lollapalooza aftershows, and have shows coming up with Coldplay (which makes sense).

More pictures from the Brooklyn show below...
