Vampire Weekend in Brooklyn in 2012 (more by Greg Cristman)

SXSW already revealed one round of artists, then a second, and now they've just revealed a third announcement which includes Vampire Weekend, Local Natives, The Thermals, Black Lips, Camera Obscura, Merchandise, Clutch, Rockie Fresh, Baauer, Bleached, TOY, Waxahatchee, Bleeding Rainbow, Count Bass D, Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire, ST 2 Lettaz, Eagles of Death Metal, Parenthetical Girls, Single Mothers, Eddi Front, Indians, Night Beds, IO Echo, KEN Mode, Today is the Day, Killa Kyleon, Lemuria, Love Inks, Moon King, Pac Div, Prince Paul, Pure Bathing Culture, Sepalcure, Stagnant Pools, and many many more.

Kenny Rogers & Lionel Richie @ ACL Live

One of the most random SXSW showcases this year was Billboard's, which featured an opening set by rising indie stars Polica (who also played Hotel Vegan on Friday, and who Pitchfork acknowledged for the very first time today), hip hop singer-sonwriter, producer The-Game (who also played the Pitchfork official showcase), and.... Lionel Richie! And to sweeten the deal, Lionel brought out a special guest who was none other than Kenny Rogers! They sang "Lady". You can see the full setlist below.

Vintage Trouble was also one of the early openers at the Wednesday, 3/14, show at ACL Live's Moody Theater (which didn't really fill up until after Lionel started).
