It'a almost Free Week 2012. As you may know/remember, Austin venues band together and put on free shows during the first week of January, featuring mostly Austin bands. This year the shows will happen in Beerland, Red 7, The Mohawk, Beauty Bar, Stubb's, The Scoot Inn, Frank, Swan Dive, Antone's, Flamingo Cantina, Emo's East, Lamberts, Skinny's Ballroom, The Parish, and more.

Free week includes the recently mentioned OBN IIIs shows happening at Beerland (1/6) and Mohawk (1/7), Ringo Deathstarr at Beauty Bar (1/7), Feathers at ND at 501 Studios (1/5), Oh No Oh My at Antones (1/5), What Made Milwaukee Famous @ Antone's (1/7) and many other shows you won't need to spend a dime to see.
