Australian dark dreampop band Nite Fields playing NYC shows this week before touring to SXSW
Brisbane, Australia’s Nite Fields make dark, gauzy guitar pop that owes more than a little to the hazy, gothy daze of mid-’80s 4AD/Beggars Banquet. You can listen to last year’s Depersonalisation album in full below.
Nite Fields just started their U.S. tour, playing Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right last night with Winkie, and they’ve got two more NYC shows before they head towards SXSW: tonight (3/9) at Home Sweet Home with Autumns for the Nothing Changes party; and Thursday (3/10) at new Bushwick venue Sunnyvale with Indiana’s Hoops and Outside World. Tickets for both those shows will be available at the door.
After SXSW, Nite Fields will hit the West Coast. All tour dates are listed below.
