Throughout their set (which leaned heavily on Thin Mind tracks), the band sounded as lively as ever, managing to breathe new life into older classics, thanks to their leaner three-piece lineup.

“Gift of Sacrifice was a stone groove to record and it will be a f**king blast to finally hit the road with my buddy Trevor Dunn,” says Buzz. “Once we take the stage, I guarantee we’ll kick the crap out of this album.”

Mike Hadreas’ fifth LP is his first since 2017’s excellent No Shape, and is out in May.

Fellow Canadians and previous tourmates Purity Ring and Braids both have new albums out this year, and both have revealed North American tours supporting them.

The tribute show happened in London on Monday and also featured Steve Winwood, Ronnie Wood, and Baker’s own son Kofi Baker.

The band say their first song in over 20 years will be out this Thursday (2/20), and added summer dates to their 2020 tour.

The tour includes openers Battles, Wolfmother, and The Sword, and hits dozens of North American cities throughout the summer.

“The Great Summer Stroll” includes a Red Rocks show with Neko Case, plus stops at Hollywood Bowl and NYC’s Rooftop at Pier 17.

The 3-day events will feature branded merchandise, “interactive experiences,” and other nods to the High Fidelity series (which debuts Friday), with half of all gross sales going towards nonprofit Little Kids Rock.
