Babes In Toyland @ Saint Vitus – 10/23/15

The Babes In Toyland reunion already hit NYC at Irving Plaza in September, and over the weekend their tour with Kitten Forever returned here for a smaller show at Saint Vitus (10/23), presented by BrooklynVegan. It was sold out and the place was packed with people who seemed hugely into it (including JD Samson), massively cheering after and during every song. And the band sounded great. Just like when I caught them at Riot Fest Denver, they were as noisy and grungy as ever, but seeing them in a small dark venue made it even better.
