Bad Books (Kevin Devine, Manchester Orchestra) announce first tour in 6 years & new LP

Bad Books, which began as the collaborative project of Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra frontman Andy Hull and later expanded into a full band (also including Manchester Orchestra’s Robert McDowell as a core member), are gearing up to release their third album, which will be “announced soon.” They’ve also just announced their first tour in six years and released a live video shot during their surprise set at SXSW last month. Manchester Orchestra protégé Brother Bird is opening.

The tour includes Brooklyn’s Elsewhere on June 27 and Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall on June 28. Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday (4/19) at noon.
