Bad Waitress on tour with Fucked Up, in NYC now (watch their new video)
Hardcore punk genre-defiers Fucked Up are currently on tour supporting their first album in four years, Dose Your Dreams, and they’re about to begin a two-night stand in NYC tonight (11/7). They’ve also got some pretty cool openers lined up.
We recently mentioned that Candy (whose ripping debut album is out now) are on several of the tour dates, including the second NYC show, and a handful of dates are also with Toronto punks Bad Waitress, including both NYC shows.
Bad Waitress released their Party Bangers: Volume 1 EP earlier this year on Royal Mountain Records, which is six songs of punky grunge with super catchy choruses and lots of attitude. We’ve got the premiere of the video for “Where Did I Go Last Night,” which is an anthem for those fuzzy, hungover Sunday mornings, and the video follows suit. Here’s what singer/guitarist Kali-Ann Butala tells us about it:
Never thought I would see let alone be someone in a Santa Claus costume getting waterboarded with beer or see Katelyn in a prom dress with a deer head on…We caroused the city, scared some people at local bars and back yards, wrestling in the streets, getting pushed in pools, getting pools dumped on us, losing a poker game to a three year old and of course.. the silly string… Always an essential. So as it is written and as it was once done and then done again and again shooting this music video really did leave us wondering “Where DID I go last night??”

The Fucked Up/Bad Waitress tour hits Brooklyn’s Market Hotel tonight (11/7) with L.O.T.I.O.N. also on the bill, and Thursday (11/8) with Candy. Night two had been listed as sold out for a while but you can currently get tickets to both shows. All dates are listed below.
