Toronto punks Bad Waitress (fka The Nude Dogs) recently signed to Royal Mountain Reccords (home to releases by Alvvays, Mac DeMarco, METZ, PUP, etc) and their first release for the label is the Party Bangers: Volume 1 EP, due out on April 20. Ahead of the release, we’re premiering the song “Acid Brain,” along with its video. The song clocks in at under 2 minutes, and it’s a ripping dose of raw power that hearkens right back to ’90s punk and grunge. It’s angry but fun, full of attitude, and as the title suggests, the song and video are both a little hallucinogenic too. Vocalist/guitarist Kali-Ann Butala tells us, “Acid Brain is an adventure into multiple dimensions of madness, written and filmed in the aftermath of a two-day acid bender.” Check it out below.

Bad Waitress have a few shows coming up, including one in Detroit with Rise Against (before Rise Against tour with AFI and Anti-Flag), a co-release party with Night Seeker in Toronto, Montreal’s Pouzza Fest, and a Fort Erie, ON show with Hollerado in June.
