Bambara share “Sing Me to the Street” from new LP, expand 2020 tour

Bambara have shared a second track from their forthcoming album Stray. Featuring backing vocals from Ani Ivry-Block of Palberta and Drew Citron of Public Practice and Beverly, “Sing Me to the Street” is a smoky, sultry number that recalls Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave and David Lynch. “‘Sing Me to the Street’ is about loneliness, isolation, and the dreamy allure of chaos,’ says the band’s Reid Bateh. “The song follows an unnamed character wandering the streets of a vast city that feels both alive and abandoned, as he attempts to silence the persistent song of oblivion singing in his head.” You can watch the video below.

Stray is out Valentine’s Day on Wharf Cat and their tour starts right after that. They’ve just announced more dates, including a new NYC show happening March 21 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, December 6. They’ve also just announced UK and European dates — all are listed below.
