Band of Horses will release their new album Why Are You OK this Friday (6/10) via Interscope, and last night (6/6) they played an intimate acoustic pre-release show at Rough Trade NYC. It was a set by 3/5 of the band — Ben Bridwell, Tyler Ramsey, and Ryan Monroe — and they played for about 45 minutes, featuring some songs off the new album, old favorites like “No One’s Gonna Love You” and more. (We didn’t get the full setlist, anyone have it?) Pictures of the show are in this post.

Band of Horses also expanded their tour, and it now includes a larger, full-band NYC show on September 22 at Central Park SummerStage. Tickets for that show go on sale Saturday (6/11) at 10 AM. Tonight (6/7) the band play Vintage Vinyl in NJ. Updated dates are listed below.
