Bauhaus, Morrissey, Blondie, Devo, Bunnymen, P-Furs & lots more playing LA's Cruel World fest
A rather incredible lineup of new wave, ’80s alternative, and modern goth acts will play Los Angeles’ Goldenvoice-presented Cruel World Festival which happens May 2 at the Dignity Health Sports Bank. The festival is headlined by Morrissey and also includes Bauhaus, Blondie, Devo, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Psychedelic Furs, Violent Femmes, The Church, English Beat, Public Image Ltd, Gary Numan, Marc Almond, Berlin, Missing Persons, Bad Manners, Christian Death, TR/ST, She Wants Revenge, Drab Majesty, Black Marble, The KVB and more.
Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday, February 14 at 3 PM Pacific and you can register for a presale that starts Thursday (2/13) at noon Pacific.
The Psychedelic Furs, one of three Pretty in Pink soundtrack stars playing this (if you count Morrissey), will release their first album in nearly 30 years in May.
