Beach Slang are releasing a second installment of their covers mixtapes. Here I Made This For You Mixtape Volume II comes out February 10 via Polyvinyl and features covers of The Adverts, The Candyskins, Tommy Keene, The Jesus & Mary Chain, and The Modern Lovers. Their take on The Adverts’ “Bored Teenagers” is out now and you can listen below. Singer James Alex says, “The first time I heard ‘Bored Teenagers’ by The Adverts, I thought it was the greatest thing ever. I don’t know, maybe it still is.”

Speaking of Beach Slang covering other bands, listen to their recently-released cover of Green Day’s “2000 Light Years Away” here.

These road warriors will be over in Europe this month and next, and they’ll be back in the US to play Forecastle in July. No other 2017 US shows announced yet. All dates are listed below.
