Third Eye Blind‘s cover of Bon Iver‘s “Blood Bank” is finally here and it… doesn’t suck? I mean, it’s basically just a straightforward rendition of the original, but Stephan Jenkins actually pulls off Justin Vernon’s vocals pretty well. And I guess like, if you saw Third Eye Blind live and they played this song, it might be kinda cool?
The song is on the band’s new covers EP, Thanks For Everything, which is out today, and includes even more surprising covers like Chastity Belt and Happy Diving (and other stuff like Santigold, Queens of the Stone Age, Tim Buckley and Babyshambles).
