Less than two weeks after the Wellmont show, Beirut played an invite-only “Inside Session” at Stratosphere Sound recording studio (on Wednesday, May 25th). It was “Beirut recording with producer Griffin Rodriguez and Grammy-winning engineer Geoff Sanoff via Avid’s Pro Tools HD|Native platform.” Guests got “a rare, behind-the-scenes look at a recording in progress” and free alcohol.
