Back in 2011, Best Coast and Wavves went on a co-headlining tour together, and now they’re on the road together again, having hit NYC’s Terminal 5 last night (2/18). A lot has changed since that last tour though. Neither band can safely be called lo-fi anymore, they’re both on major labels, and they certainly have a lot more fans. The (seemingly young) crowd went wild for both, constantly starting push pits and crowd surfing. Both bands mixed up their sets pretty well, playing plenty from their rawer early days and plenty of newer stuff too. Opening the night and making for a very solid triple bill was Cherry Glazerr.
