Beth Orton’s new LP is out, playing NYC tonight w/ Sam Amidon; both added to marriage equality benefit

Beth Orton and Sam Amidon have been added to the Freedom To Love Now! A Concert for Marriage Equality benefit that happens on October 30 at Beacon Theater. The Doveman-presented show also features Rufus Wainright, The National, They Might Be Giants, John Cameron Mitchell with Stephen Trask, Justin Vivan Bond, Toshi Reagon, fun., and more. Tickets  are still available with proceeds going to benefit Freedom to Marry.

Meanwhile, Beth’s tour hits NYC tonight at Town Hall tonight (10/4) with Sam opening, and tickets are still available. Beth Orton’s Sugaring Season is out this week (stream via Spotify) and you can watch her performing “Magpie” from it on Letterman below.
