Better Oblivion Community Center are playing Colbert & CBS Saturday Morning

Better Oblivion Community Center, the mysterious musical project that appears to a collaboration between Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers, will become decidedly less mysterious this week, as they’ve got two separate appearances lined up on CBS: They’re the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night (1/23) and then appear on CBS This Morning Saturday on January 26 as part of the show’s “Saturday Sessions.” Seems there’s little doubt that BOCC are a band, now.

UPDATE: It’s all true, they surrise released an album, and you can listen now!

That CBS This Morning promo image above, which CBS anchor Anthony Mason tweeted last weekend, shows what looks to be an album cover. Wednesday is also the date on the Better Living Community Center brochure so we could know a lot more on Wednesday. Stay tuned.

UPDATE: Better Living Community Center shared a new “message,” where they hint at a tour, too.
