Beyonce surprise-releases Coachella live album with new Netflix film

Beyonce‘s new Netflix film Homecoming, which is an “intimate, in-depth look” at Beyonce’s 2018 Coachella set, is out now. (And Netflix changed their Twitter name to “Netflix US aka BEYFLIX.”) Along with the film is a surprise live album of Beyonce’s Coachella set called Homecoming: The Live Album, which also includes a recording of Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and Beyonce’s new cover of Frankie Beverly and Maze’s “Before I Let Go.” As you know if you’ve watched the performance, the live album features appearances by Jay-Z, J Balvin, and Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child groupmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

The two hour and 17 minute film features pro-shot footage of Beyonce’s Coachella performance, rehearsal footage and other behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the performance, narration by Beyonce, and more. Watch the film at Netflix and stream the album below.

Meanwhile, weekend two of Coachella 2019 is this weekend (including J Balvin) and will stream live. In case you missed it, check out pictures and videos of weekend one. Speaking of Jay-Z, he plays Webster Hall’s re-opening night the following Friday.
