Big Nothing releasing 'Chris,' touring with Radiator Hospital (stream "Real Name")

Big Nothing — aka Spraynard singer/guitarist Pat Graham plus Liz Parsons (Casual), Matt Quinn (Crybaby), and Chris Jordan (Young Livers) — released their self-titled debut EP on Asian Man Records in 2017, and now they’re gearing up to release their first full-length album, Chris, on May 10 via Salinas Records (pre-order). We’re premiering lead single “Real Name,” which branches out from the ’90s punk/emo vibes of the EP into more jangly, Replacements-y territory. It’s a clear step forward from the EP, and the slightly slower tempos work well for Big Nothing — this is perhaps their catchiest song yet. Listen below.

As mentioned, Big Nothing are touring with their Salinas labelmates Radiator Hospital and Swanning, including a NYC show on May 19 at Trans-Pecos that also has Quaker Wedding on the bill (tickets). All dates are listed below.
