Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong & more playing iHeartRadio coronavirus charity show

With LA’s Shrine Auditorium closed for events until March 31 earliest (and likely longer), iHeartRadio have postponed their annual Music Awards, which were scheduled to be held there on Sunday (3/29). Instead, as Reuters reports, they are hosting their version of some of the livestreamed mini-festivals that have been popping up lately, only on TV instead of Instagram Live. The one hour special is called “iHeart Living Room Concert for America,” and it airs on Fox and iHeart radio stations at 9 PM. Elton John is set to host, and Billie Eilish, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong, Backstreet Boys, and Tim McGraw are all performing, through videos they themselves film at home (hopefully not vertically).

They’ll be collecting donations for Feeding America and the First Responders Children’s Foundation, and paying tribute to doctors, nurses, and other health workers.
