Billy Idol & Steve Stevens

Billy Idol announces "unplugged" duo tour with Steve Stevens

The iconic Billy Idol and his longtime guitarist Steve Stevens have announced a spring North American tour as a duo. For “Turned On, Tuned In and Unplugged,” they’re promising “hits, deeper album cuts and songs that influenced them both,” as well as “spoken word interludes” from Billy telling the stories behind the songs. Steve Stevens is holding an electric guitar in the above photo which accompanied the tour announcement though, so it’s not clear if “unplugged” definitely means “acoustic.”

The tour kicks off in early March in Vancouver, BC, and hits NYC for a show at Town Hall on March 27, 2019. Update: and March 28 at Town Hall too. Tickets go on general sale Friday, January 18 at 10 AM, with various presales starting Wednesday, January 16 at 10 AM for the 3/27 show. See all the dates in Billy and Steve’s duo tour below.

In related news, Steve Stevens has a new band with Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler and Use Your Illusion-era Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum.
